Uses
Ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine tablets are used for the short-term relief of cold and flu symptoms.
- Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory painkiller (NSAID). It eases aches, headache, sore throat and high temperature.
- Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant. It narrows swollen blood vessels in the nose to clear a blocked nose and sinuses.
Together they treat pain, fever and congestion in one tablet.
How to use
Take it exactly as the leaflet says or as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
- Swallow the tablets with water.
- Use the lowest dose for the shortest time needed, and leave the gap between doses shown on the pack.
- Do not take it for more than 10 days unless your doctor tells you to.
- See a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms continue, get worse or new symptoms appear, especially if you have an infection.
- It is not suitable for children under 12.

Possible side effects include:
- indigestion, heartburn, feeling sick or tummy pain (stop and tell your doctor)
