Tears Naturale II 0.1%/0.3% Drops

Dextran 70 with hypromellose is a lubricating eye drop, often called artificial tears. Both ingredients are lubricants that help keep the surface of the eye moist and comfortable.

It is used for short-term relief of:

• dry eyes
• burning and irritation of the eyes
• discomfort from wind or sun exposure

It also helps protect the eye against further irritation.

Use it as the label, your doctor or pharmacist tells you, usually 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.

• Remove contact lenses before using it.
• Do not let the tip of the bottle touch your eye or any surface, and replace the cap after each use.
• Ask a doctor before using it in children under 6.

Some people feel brief tingling or stinging when the drops go in.

Stop using it and see a doctor if you have:

• eye pain
• changes in your vision
• redness or irritation that gets worse or lasts more than 72 hours

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it if you:

• are sensitive to any of the ingredients (some brands contain the preservative benzalkonium chloride)
• wear contact lenses
• are pregnant or breastfeeding

Store at 15 to 25°C with the cap closed. Do not use if the solution changes colour or becomes cloudy. Keep out of the reach of children.
