Optheez Lubricant Eye Drops 10mg Drops

Carboxymethylcellulose sodium is a lubricant used in artificial tear eye drops. It forms a soothing layer over the surface of the eye.

It is used for short-term relief of:

• burning and irritation from dry eyes
• discomfort from minor eye irritation or exposure to wind or sun

It also helps protect the eye against further irritation.

Use it as the label, your doctor or pharmacist tells you.

• Wash your hands before use.
• Put 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye(s) when needed.
• Do not let the tip of the bottle touch your eye or any surface, to keep the drops clean.
• Single-use vials should be thrown away after opening; follow the pack for how long an opened bottle can be used.

Stop using the drops and speak to a doctor if you have:

• eye pain
• changes in your vision
• redness or irritation that continues or gets worse

Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• have eye pain, a red eye or an eye infection
• have any change in your vision
• use other eye medicines

Store at room temperature (15–30°C). Do not use if the solution changes colour or becomes cloudy.

For use in the eyes only. If your symptoms last more than 72 hours or get worse, stop using the drops and see a doctor. Keep out of reach of children; if swallowed, get medical advice.
