Eyecane Eye Drops 4/3mg Drops

Polyethylene glycol 400 and propylene glycol are lubricants. Together they form a moisturising layer over the surface of the eye, much like natural tears.

The drops give temporary relief from:

• burning and irritation caused by dry eyes
• discomfort from minor eye irritation or exposure to wind or sun

Both ingredients do the same job, and they are combined to help keep the eye surface moist.

Use the drops as often as needed, as your doctor or pharmacist tells you or as the label says.

• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Put 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye or eyes.
• Do not let the bottle tip touch your eye or any surface.
• Put the cap back on after each use.

Side effects are uncommon. Some people may be sensitive to an ingredient and get eye irritation.

Stop using the drops and see a doctor if…

• you have eye pain or changes in your vision
• redness or irritation continues
• your symptoms get worse or last more than 72 hours

Do not use the drops if:

• you are sensitive to any of the ingredients
• the liquid has changed colour or become cloudy

These drops are for use in the eye only. Some brands contain a preservative – check the label if you wear contact lenses and ask your pharmacist.

Store at room temperature, with the cap closed, out of the reach of children.

For use in the eyes only. If the drops are swallowed, get medical help straight away. Dry eyes that keep coming back should be checked by a doctor or optometrist.
